Chicago Trip

First, here are a few pics from January, before we left for our trip to Chicago to visit Paul's family: the 3 kiddos

Here is a smiley P in a dress that used to be S's
Here is S in the same dressThe rest of the pics are from our trip to Chicago--here is P and cousin G, born 5 weeks before her.
Here is R and cousin L (G's older brother) who is 2 months older than R. Grampy let them watch tv so the parents could sleep in-thanks Grampy!
We all went to an indoor "bounce house" complex--the kids loved it!

The Crew: My family drove up from Ohio for a weekend visit while we were in Chicago--we went to a local mall to ride the carousel and watch the jumping fountain and play in the kiddie area.
Here are all the kiddos at a very fun Children's Museum--that's a bearded Paul with P and his brother Eric with his son G.

A giant "lite brite"

We miss you Chicago Family!

Looks like you had a great trip! Did you stay warm enough? Oh my, Piper is adorable. What a cute, smiley girl! And I love seeing the "Most Valuable Player" shirt on Ranger. That one was always a favorite of mine. Oh, I miss you guys a lot! I was just thinking about you today...has it really been NINE months since I've seen you? It was last April...sheesh, that is WAY too long! I still haven't heard anything from the Drollingers or the Keiths about camping...

Oh, and Elizabeth has that same orange, pink, & red flowered onesie. It was fun to see it on Piper and imagine our two little girlies (one blond hair, blue eyed and one brown hair, brown eyed) side by side someday with matching shirts on. Maybe this summer =) Anyway, I have a funny story about that onesie...she was wearing it the other day (and was seated in her totally pink car seat) when a man came up to us and said, "How old is HE?" I said, "She's almost 5 months." (At this point a normal person would say, "Oh, SHE! Yes, of course!") But this poor, socially clueless man responded, "SHE? Oh, well, I guess SHE'LL be a tomboy!" Can you believe it!

OK, sorry, this is my last comment! But I just wanted to say that Piper has the most perfect eyebrows! Have you noticed that? Just an observation...
